Mitochondria was built by people who understand both how organisations operate and why new systems fail to take hold inside them. Our experience spans business operations, behavioural science, communication strategy, data engineering, and AI deployment. We understand the politics of workflow change, the fragility of organisational memory, and the rational resistance of people who've seen ‘transformation’ projects come and go – and operate to close this gap.
Leadership
Nikita Vhora and Sushrut Munje founded Mitochondria after more than a decade of work across operations, behavioural science, and strategic communication. Through BCS, they worked with over 60 organisations, from early ventures to established businesses, gaining a close view of how decisions, workflows, and adoption actually play out inside organisations.
That background shapes everything about Mitochondria: we understand where unofficial workflows live, how decisions really get made, why people resist systems they do not trust, and what it takes for new tools to earn adoption rather than compliance.
Our engineering team brings production AI experience from regulated industries in the UK, India, and the Netherlands. They have built and scaled platforms where uptime is contractual, integrations are complex, and AI must behave predictably under regulatory scrutiny.
How We Work
That background shapes how we deploy. We begin by mapping how work actually moves through your organisation, including the exceptions, bottlenecks, and informal decision points that rarely appear in process documents. That is what allows the product to fit the operation rather than sit beside it.
